Is post wedding sadness a thing?!

I definitely had post-wedding blues. I loved seeing all of my friends and family at my wedding. I definitely won’t see most of them until the next cousin wedding. And I loved planning a day about me and my Darling Husband. There was a letdown after all of the excitement.

So I focused on planning and booking a vacation. That helped!

It didn’t happen to me–I was glad it was over.  But, a friend of mine went through the post wedding blues.  She eventually snapped out of it & focused in being a wife & partner.  She even learned how to cook!

Quite a change from our partying days : )

Definitely did not happen to me, maybe because I immediately went on an amazing honeymoon, and also because my focus/energy has always been on my marriage, not the wedding.

amiona:  Enjoy the newlywed phase with date nights and spending time together bonding.

I love this advice.
