    Maybe that’s fine for the country she lives in? I don’t see how it’s any different than a Honeymoon Fund.

    I would never do it, but like Miss Tattoo said… maybe its ok where she comes from?? It is def going to rub some people the wrong way over here tho… I would think.

    I think asking for money, presents etc, is rude anytime.

    Even if that is how it is done in her country, putting the link on fb is rude.  Also, I am confused why she would specifically call it ‘early wedding gifts’.  If I was doing the website, I would have simply quietly provided the link on a website and had it the entire time and not specified when it was to be used.  What will it be after the wedding?  Late wedding gifts?
