Hi bees, next week at this time I will be putting on my wedding dress! I’m so happy about everyone and everything; but the forecast is calling for rain and possibly a thunderstorm. I only care because our ceremony and dinner are outside in the BEAUTIFUL garden at my venue. We have plan B ready but I really want everything to be outdoors like I’ve been planning for well over a year.
I guess I just need motivation to keep my spirits up and focus on the things I can change. It’s all in the hands of the Good Lord. Anyone else going through this?
I know there must be lots of Independence weekend Brides like me

As long as you have a Plan B then there is nothing else you can do. Worrying is a terrible evil that gets us nowhere so please try and distract yourself; what will be will be! I’m sure you have a million things to do before your big day so focus on those for now. Chin up!

Sending you good weather vibes.

I wouldn’t worry too much yet, the weather predictions always change. It was supposed to rain on my day but it ended up pouring the day before instead. It was, however, way colder than expected (we also had the whole wedding outside) so we moved part of the reception inside to keep the guests comfy. Not what I envisioned, but it still turned out beautiful.

It rained on my wedding day (yesterday), but was over before we were even finished getting our hair done, thank goodness! Rain is good luck. 🙂
