Hi beautiful ladies! My question today is regarding sleep.
Does anyone think they will be able to sleep the night before the wedding? Any tips to relaxing (other than NO DIY the night before!!!) to getting a good night of sleep before one of the biggest days of your life?

I didnt have trouble falling asleep – the day before was long with bridal luncheons, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and cocktails/socializing afterwards – there were so many things to do by the time i got home at (1 AM!) i was pooped. I fell right asleep BUT i did find myself tossing and turning in the early morning an hour or so before i really needed to be up – i laid there for about 20 minutes and decided to just get up and get some coffee and breakfast – no need to try and sleep when i couldnt.

My Fiance and i were just speaking about this last night!!!! Im terrified that i wont be able to sleep. im prob going to take a melatonin the night before to make sure i get some rest. All of my friends that are recently married said that thier wedding day was a LONG day! I would hate be yawning during my vowels!

I take melatonin every night already. Hmmmm maybe I need an ambien?!?!?! Not having to get up too early was part of the reason I wanted to have an evening wedding. I will probably get a workout in wedding morning… crazy sounding, but it helps calm me down.
Keep the ideas coming.

I didn’t sleep at all the night before, but I was so excited the whole day of the wedding that I didn’t feel tired at all until we got back to the hotel room that night. Don’t worry too much over it.

I hardly slept but was so overwhelmed with things to do the day of I didn’t feel it. Don’t worry! I also took natural sleep meds, melatonin, to help get me at least 4 hours of sleep.

The night before? At this point I have zero hope that I’ll sleep. I’ve been sleepling like crap the past 2 weeks and it’s getting worse. I feel like a zombie all day long. And taking a sleeping aide isn’t helping. My head won’t shut off, so even when I am physically sleeping I wake up tired. Blech.

I had no problem sleeping. DH and I stayed together the night before in our bridal suite. After our Rehearsal Dinner, we came back to the room and finished our favors (we had to put ribbon and favor tags on 70 mini apple pies). I don’t remember exactly what time we went to bed but I’d say it was probably around 11. Next thing I knew it was 6:30 and my alarm was going off. I was exhausted from running around like a psycho the day before so sleep was a piece of cake!

I had trouble sleeping – and even worse, stayed with DH and we had different periods of feeling sleepy/restless through the night so we kept waking each other up. In retrospectI would’ve had my own bed and shared the hotel room with a responsible friend.
