I use Facebook messenger but rarely look at Facebook itself or share things, except photos from time to time as I live abroad. Don’t use any other social media.

I’m far away from my family and just had a baby so I’m constantly on facebook messenger video chatting with my sister and mom. Or sometimes I’m sending my sister snaps on snap chat of the baby.

I don’t use social media. I’m in my twenties, not old. I just started finding Facebook irritating after 10 years of having it. I tried Instagram but meh. Never understood the appeal of Snapchat or Twitter either.

I mostly use it to look at pictures of dogs, honestly.

rosebee11 :  I use it mostly to keep in touch with family and friends that I don’t get to see much. We can be across the country or world and still share pieces of our lives. I also use it for work, but all of my coworkers contribute to managing the accounts so it’s not my sole responsibility.

I use social media quite a bit. I enjoy it but I wouldn’t say it’s an important part of my life, more like a fun time waster. And it’s a nice way to keep up with my friends and family who are spread out all over the country.

I have no idea how much time per day I spend on social media. I check it someone frequent but that only takes a minute so I don’t think it adds up to much time.

I don’t use social media and to me ( ppl don’t get offended) I just don’t see a point in it. I don’t like ppl knowing what’s going on in my life nor do I care about there’s. Everyone I still keep in contact with from HS is cause I chose too and they had every number change lol. I like no drama too and don’t care to see ppl from HS or old jobs

Facebook is important for me because my family (as well as many of my friends) and I live on opposite sides of the world, and we can keep in touch easily on social media.

i dont use facebook as much anymore as i use to. I hardly ever actually post anything to my own facebook. I mainly still have an account to keep in touch with extended family and my sister in california.

i personally love instagram, its a nice way to keep all the photos and experiences i love in one place. But i do find instagram to be a little extra at times, you can tell people try a little to hard to get some super flashy look at me photo. Its basically like a giant popularity contest.

    i dont do twitter.

I feel like I’m in the minority based on previous comments, but social media is SUPER important to me. Facebook, not so much (just go on it for maybe a total of 10 seconds and day to check notifications or if I’m on it longer then it’s to look at inspiration and photos related to my hobbies from the groups I’m in). Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube are my main jams though.

I work as a full-time production artist and then a freelance illustrator in my spare time so social media is where I share all my personal/freelance work and also follow similar artist accounts (and friends, of course). My social media accounts are how people find me and my work and as a result they’re also the main source of all the freelance client work I get so I’m on them what feels like All. The. Time.

Sometimes it gets a little much though and I take maybe a couple of weeks every now and then to unplug and just relax by reading or drawing without the intention or pressure of posting my pieces, but then I’m back into the sticky web of social media, lol.

I use social media for literally everything. I’m in a ton of Facebook groups locally, also follow multiple pages for some of my more niche interests (horses, farming/agriculture, makeup, parenting) that I like to keep up with. My family has several group pages that are private that we share pictures and randomness to every day. I don’t post to my personal page all that often, but behind the scenes in the groups I’m really active.

I YouTube everything and follow a bunch of different YouTubers for reviews, tutorials, chats, etc.

I do SnapChat and IG randomly, it feels like a bunch of 12 year old took it over so I don’t spend as much time on those platforms as others. But overall, social media is important to me because it connects me to the things I choose to be connected to. Which is why I don’t understand people who claim it causes a lot of drama– because I don’t follow/comment/ subscribe/ friend people or groups that I don’t want to! No one is forcing you to be friends with your crazy aunt or high school rivals, ya know?

I am not on Facebook at all. I do have a Twitter but that isn’t nearly the commitment Facebook is. It is just fun, gathering information on places and people I am interested in, and tweeting celebs. Not a lot, just once in awhile!
