ohhh, i think it’s SO cute!!!!  I absolutely love it.  While I do think it’s a bit more cold weather, I think it’s so much more dressy than just a pashmina and I think a wedding warrants a more dressy flair.  Plus, it’s so small, that it won’t really matter.  GO FOR IT.

Also – where did you find that?  I want one for my California Oct wedding!! and it could easily be 90 degrees out 😉

Well, it all depends on how the weather is. If it’s warm or cold because October is an effy month. One day it’s hot, one day its cold!

Personally, I think it’s a little too winter-y for October.  To each her own, but I would stick with the pashmina.

Aw, I love it but I agree with hotchild. I think it is too winter-y. But do what you wish!

I really like the wrap!  What does the forecast predict for your wedding date?

If you are getting frost already, I think you can pull it off, otherwise I say go with the pashmina..

i think it depends on the weather. i hate cold so i’m wearing a hat in 70 degree weather. i say do whatever you need to keep warm.

It depends on the weather. Isn’t the weather kind of warm there right now?

I like it … but it really does depend on the weather. Fur is really for cold wintery weather … not 60’ish …

Do it in marabou, instead of fur!

    Totally appropriate for October.

See one attached. This is from a lady in Australia, whose name is Julie Fleming; she sells them via eBay. But lots of designers do marabou stoles/wraps/tippets.

    Love it.

I’m part of the “it’s ADORABLE but too wintery for fall” camp… that being said, if it’s  something you *really* want and don’t mind it being slightly out of season, I don’t see why you shouldn’t wear it Smile

Not sure what the weather is like where you are at that time, but if you want the fur cape then go for it. Some people may say it’s too winter-looking but if you browse through old pictures of Hollywood stars and vintage magazines, those same capes were worn and weren’t limited to winter. It shouldn’t matter what other people think as long as you love it.
