Hi Bees,
I figured you maybe could help me out so I don’t worry myself. I am almost 7 months pregnant and today at the gym I had some light tanish/brown discharge in my underwear and when I wiped. It wasn’t a lot and I have wiped since and haven’t seen any. I was wondering if this is normal at 7 months? Should I let my doctor know? Also, I have felt the baby move all day and I haven’t had really any cramps (other then an occasional twinge that goes away in a few mins.) Thanks sooo much!

When in doubt, call your doctor just for reassurance sake. They’ll know best.

I had spotting in my 5th month but it was only when I wiped twice over a couple days & no cramping or anything else associated with it. My midwife said that was pretty normal.
I would just take note and let the doctor know so they can atleast put it in your chart. It could just be from the exercise or if you’ve had intercourse in the last 2 days or something like that. No harm in making a call. =)

Ditto PP, call your OB just in case. I had a single spot of blood at 31 wks and called; turned out I was already dilating and ended up on bed rest for weeks, but wouldn’t have known had I not gone in.

It is probably OK, but call your doctor anyways. My doctor has told me consistently to always call with any spotting. They’ll probably just have you come in and do a quick HB check or quick ultrasound.

Brown blood is suppose to be alright. Bright pink blood not so good. Just take it easy, put your feet up and see your dr tomorrow to check everything.

Definitely let your doctor know, though it is probably fine, it is important they have it on your chart.
