    I really don’t understand why you would think it looks weird…

    I think it looks great.

    I don’t think it is odd. As for a veil, I don’t know.

    @ppplll6: I think that the way it comes out from the back makes it look more romantic and I also think that if you wanted to go with a simple cathedral veil that you could do that too, and it would look stunning.

    This is beautiful and I LOVE the back.  I don’t think it is weird or “out there” at all.

    The back is lovely – it’s the highlight of the dress!

    I dont think its weird, but I dont think it’s very flattering to the butt the way it adds all that fabric over it.

    I think it looks beautiful, breathy, airy and perfect for a beach wedding! The back of the dress is lovely. The photo above just makes it seem so pronounced as its purpose is to be a clear indication of the back of the dress, but I bet that in person it looks even more magnificent and flows just right as you move and stand. As for how to bustle it, your alterations people/seamstresses will help you.

    @ppplll6:

    I’m wondering if you’ve seen this dress in person? It reminds me very much of Cambridge by “Blue by Enzoani” which had a detachable tulle train. I imagine to bustle it, the train would come off and the gown would have a French bustle…

    It’s pretty. I agree with pp that it would probably look best with a french bustle. The sales consultants should know if you’re buying it in a store.

    I think it’s lovely! I’m not quite sure what veil would work best – I think you’d need to try a few on to decide what suits it best. I think a raw edge Cathedral would look beautiful for the ceremony and maybe take it off for the reception to show off the back of the dress.
