I think there should be a “it should be” option lol. Although I’ve never been a bird cage fan and not really a fan of veils altogether, so I’m probably biased…

ETA: However, some girls have that style and can really pull it off, and more power to them :]

I think birdcage veils are probably going to become an actual “thing” instead of just a trend. I don’t forsee them going anywhere.

I think they are timeless at this point 🙂

I think if you want to wear something it shouldn’t matter if it is “in style” for the moment, it sure won’t be for long even if it is now!

My Fiance says same thing but I want it up. I am considering a half up/half down do, cause when you’re only half way up, you’re neither up nor down!

As far as trends are concerned, they will ALL be out of style as the years go by, so just make sure that whatever you do reflects the timelessness you want. That way, looking back on your pics won’t be as painful. Just think of the wedding pics you’ve seen from 70’s and 80s etc.

I hope in still!! I want to wear my hair down with one. I get super bad migraines with my hair up. Even loosely. So down it is. 🙂 I’d love to see what you are thinking!

When I think of birdcage I think of hair down curled under and half up or all down, like in the 30’s and 40’s.

the thing with a trend is that it is always being updated, it will not go anywhere. A fad on the other hand is deffinately short lived. Birdcages go back a couple decades so I don’t think they will fade. As for hair up down, I think you could eaither go half up with a birdcage or pull one side back over your ear. all the way down may not be as nice, but im sure you can find a way to make it work. good luck!
