My makeup artist said I’m 2nd last for makeup, so I’m guessing I’ll be in the middle for hair.

Hi – I am a traveling hair and makeup artist in AZ – we always do the Brides last – then leave time for touchups on any of the other clients 🙂

I had an 8am appt and a 2:30 wedding. We had three hair dressers for five girls so three of us went first (including me) and then I had my makeup done by my hair and makeup lady while the other two were having hair done by the other two hairdressers.  We were done and home drinking mimosas by 11am and my hair held up just fine.

I think it depends on your timeline. If you are getting pictures done before the wedding of mostly you and your Fiance, then I would go first so the MUA can finish the rest of the girls while you’re out taking photos. However, if you are taking photos before and want a lot of group/family pictures, then I would go last so you are the freshest. If you are not doing photos beforehand, I would consider going somewhere in the middle towards the end, especially if you are running late. That way the MUA isn’t rushing through yours but then you are still fresh.

mine will be last– that way, there’s less time/chance for things to get messed up.

I did mine last and we ran out of time (and the hairdresser ran out of pins)

I wouldn’t recommend it

Mine was done last and we had plenty of time afterwards for touch ups and/or redos (in one girl’s case…she was just being difficult).  It was all very relaxed and no one felt rushed.  We had a total of about 5 hours for hair and makeup for 5 of us.  It worked out perfectly.

Im going first (sort of). They are putting in the roller set first, letting me dry, doing my mom and Maid/Matron of Honor in between and then finishing my style. I think my makeup will be in the middle.
