Are there even any like comments from brides/couples Under the photos? Sometimes you see that. No way I would risk it if no reviews / refs, or s proper website.

Unless she gets back to you with an acceptable reason / provide what you’re looking for by email etc.

ETA: sorry I misread the first time that you only saw her Instagram.. I would have went with my photographer by just his own website and Instagram. I didn’t see that he was featured on a wedding website until after I had decided. I don’t think that’s an issue so much. But his own website was very detailed, a lot of work out in, personalised stories about the couples, a review section, lots about himself etc

I would keep looking for photographer 😐 I know how it is you just want to check things off on your long lists of things to do. But if you can’t find any kind of reviews or pictures other then her instagram account that’s a red flag. Trust your gut on this.

Hmm it’s somewhat odd. When I google it more now, yeah my photog (and other ones I’ve looked at) have been featured on lots of other wedding sites, and have Facebook and LinkedIn pages etc.

Some photographers just don’t target those sites though, or don’t have the style that is likely to be featured.

im not sure what to tell you! Best thing would be to maybe arrange a meeting and see what feeling you get from them, or ask for a couple of referees you can contact and ask them lots of quite detailed / wedding specific questions.
