Yes.

In college a girlfriend and I worked at a bar. A hot guy frequented this establishment. He seriously had all the female staff gushing over him. He would always play things very cool. He never hit on us in front of each other, as a matter of fact he had most of us to his place, multiple times. We think that he didn’t know we were talking amoungst ourselves about him and his prowess in the sack but we were. HE WAS AMAZING. Tall, well chisled abs, great eyes.. Very nice. Well after our JR year of college my room mate(the friend I referenced earlier) stayed in town to work the summer. We shared him for most of the summer and he never mentioned either of us to each other. Very Suave on his part! lol Anyway in mid August I came back to our place unannounced, I thought she was working(she was but got cut early, slow night) Well the secret was out and rather than let things get akward, or more akward than they already were, I was invited to join in, it was fabulous. We continued this through SR year and it was very rewarding for all of us. Enough of that story because I am feeling rather slutty right now lol

Yes. My best friend had slept with this guy when I hadn’t met him yet. I met him a few weeks after she slept with him and fell madly in love. It weirded me out that they had been together, and she would laugh about how much he would sweat and it would drip on her and how awful it was, and it was kinda sucky to hear about it since I was so into him. And she was a lot prettier than me, and skinnier, and I felt a little jealous at first. Then I forgot all about their relationship and focused on us. And then it ended and I was still best friends with her. 🙂

yes, many occasions. all parties involved were pretty cool about it, except for one time:

my college roomate started dating my ex only a few months after we broke up (he and I had been together 2 years). it ended our friendship. I forgave her a few years later, and they’re married now. it’s ancient history and I honestly don’t care anymore.

Yes.

Me, my friend T and my friend W have all slept with the same guy.

I don’t think it’s a big deal – none of us ever dated him/were in love with him and during high school within our group of friends we all slept with/made out with each other (ugh, that makes us sound really slutty).

@joya_aspera:  +1. I’m a serial monogamist, so there was never an opportunity to share hookups (not that I’d want to – would feel weird to me!). I would never date a friend’s ex and I can’t imagine any of my friends dating mine either.

@lovelyinside:  I was seeing some guy when I was younger, 11 yrs ago.  Wasn’t anything serious, young and dumb. Lol. But now my best friend is cheating on her bf with the same guy. Which, btw, she introduced me to him back then and was well aware we had a “thing.” Kinda awkward because we all went out together a few times, before she confessed she was sleeping with him. (Which I kinda knew by their interactions with each other.) She didn’t mention the awkwardness to me, but I brought it up. I just told her, I don’t care what she does, it’s her life and as far as him and I go, I want to pretend, suppress anything even happened between us. My young past is not something I want to remember. Lol I would think she would feel more bad or weirded out about the situation. But doesn’t seen like she cares.

@lovelyinside:  YUP! There was a a one night kinda thing at a party when I was 18. We worked together and it never turned into anything. I ended up dating another we worked with and he ended up dating my BFF/Cousin!

We all hung out together and everything seemed fine, but slowly my ex started to show some signs of jealousy about it. And the guy also told me about a year later that my cousin had reservations about it also, but she never said anything to me.

Eventually he ended up cheating on my cousin and dumping her out of no where.

No for a few reasons. I personally never slept with someone I wasn’t dating. My friends would never sleep with or date someone I had dated (even though I would have never minded or said no to that). But, my friends and I all have really different tastes in men. It’s really weird because we ALL have different tastes and have never been attracted to the same man!

Yes, lol, but I met her because of him! I was dating him casually and she was/is his ex, and they’re still good friends. He’s a nice guy but her and I were totally wrong with him 😛 She’s invited to my wedding, he isn’t, but he’s recently Facebook-official with some girl and I hope that works out!

When I was younger, yeah [like 19-20]. There was always a little hint of jealousy now and then [he was the bad boy all the girls fawned over]. It’s just funny now.. because now he’s a dead beat [no job, tons of kids but doens’t support them], and we’re all glad we never really “hooked up” with him.

fortiesflare I feel like I want to know more! How did your DH come into the picture, when did you meet and fall in love knowing his sister was dating your ex. I think you could write that novel.

Haha yes.

It was a FWB thing for both of us and it didn’t happen at the same time.
