I love the ever-popular partially up with a slight bump in front & using bobby pins to hold it, but hubby does’t really like it. He said “it makes that pointy thing on top of your head.” LOL.
That pointy thing?! It’s HAIR! Bumped up slightly, but not HUGE.
Ever since he told me that, I’m self-conscious about wearing my hair that way around him.
He’s not mean about it at all, and his comment came from the fact that I actually asked him one day what he thought of it, and he replied honestly LOL.
He tells me I’m beautiful no matter how I wear my hair, cuz it’s MY hair, but still…I know he’s not fond of it 😛

when i wear my hair curly/scrunchy. Because if he tries to brush it out of my face or touch it, his fingers get caught, I go “OW” and it ruins a moment.
i still wear my hair scrunchy/curly a lot tho.

haha whenever i go get a hair cut (and by haircut i mean trim!) my fiance freaks! i have cut my hair to donate it a few times so it gets pretty short, and while i know he loves me no matter what, he’s pretty clear about being a long hair guy!

I think my Fiance gets annoyed at how often I just throw my hair into a pony tail, but frankly I don’t always have the time or the energy to really do my hair. Oh well! – until he starts styling my hair for me I see no reason for him to complain.

Fiance doesn’t prefer my hair up… he likes it long, down and crazy…

When my hair was longer, I’d do the “hair bump” too, and he didn’t like it either! For some reason, guys have an aversion to that style. I can’t figure out why.
Right now he hates it when I have product in my hair, since he likes to touch it. But my hair is really short (like 1 inch!) so if I don’t have product, it looks pretty bad.

@ oracle & eriqua – yes! about long hair!
Mine is the same way… does’t want me to cut it, just trim.

my husband laughs about the bump, too, but only when girls do it in an extreme way, or every single day. there is this friend of a friend who wears it like that every.single.day – I like to use it when my hair is a day old, and looks a little busted. To be honest, I think my husband likes every kind of hair — pixie, bob, bangs, long hair, whatever. Just nothing too indie or crazy, probably.

ahaha..Fiance hates when i do the “hair bump” thing too! i think its so cute so i continue to do it though. He also hates my hair up! An updo is a def no-no in my bridal “look”.
Guys are funny.

@ejs That’s funny, I have the opposite situation. My Fiance gets really sad whenever I straighten my hair, he loves it curly. When he first discovered that my hair is actually curly (I used to straighten it all the time) he was giddy and kept pulling on the little curls to make them bounce.

@okqueenbee, that’s hilarious, my Fiance LOVES when i do that to my hair… one of the things that he found attractive when we first met was that hairstyle! lols…
as for his pickiness… id say as long as my hair is long… he wont’ care! hahahah lols. one of these days im going to chop it (when i don’t like long hair anymore) and make him piss his pants! hahahahahah LOLS

he hates it when i put my hair in pigtails, not like 6 year old pig tails, but ones that sit low, i love it and my friends all say i look great.

Heh, I find that hair bump extremly weird. I think mine wants me to cut my hair though and I’m not sure I do, my family would be upset if I cut it before the wedding…

I dont know if there’s anything he doesn’t like, but I know he looooves when my hair is straight and down. He wants me to wear it like that for the wedding, but it’s too plain for me!

i have uber curly hair and he seems very perplexed/sad when i try to straighten it.
