I’m looking for those filgree ring and bracelet blanks, and those resin flower cabochon, that trype of stuff to make my BMs some jewelry 🙂 I have never seen this kind of stuff in Michaels or anything, are they only sold online? I just hate paying shipping that’s as much as the thing I’m buying :p

Try looking for a Shipwreck bead store or other bead store in your area. I know that Shipwreck beads has a ton of that kind of stuff. It is like a huge warehouse and they have great prices. They are also online.

I think there’s some sort of bead store downtown, I’ll have to go check it out

There’s an online bead store that is very reasonable, called Jewelry Supply Company. Their prices are better than Michael’s, and they have some really nice tools, supplies, etc.

Some of the stuff you find on Etsy, people actually make those beads. Even though Michael’s, Joann and Hobby Lobby have a lot more in the way of beads, there is still a lot they don’t have. Try the bead store, but you can also go online to check out some bead shops. I used to buy a lot from Fire Mountain Gems. I used to buy swarovski crystals and wires to make earrings from there. They have a lot of beads there and great customer service!
