I like to plan ahead- like way way ahead- I’ll look at a house online and want to be able to visualize the space with a floor plan. But it’s hard to do that accurately.
Okay, now I sound like a weirdo- but is there a site that can do this?

I’m actually looking for something like that online as well..
I have the measurements of the hall and everything but I can’t seem to fit the floor plan because I have no clue if I am giving enough space for all the tables haha
I’ll let you know if I find something!

the knot has a great one and you can also make your seating chart with it. It is free to sign up on the knot.com and you get a free wedding website. You can even add dance floors, cake table in the corner etc. It is awesome.

Oh in case you need further instructions. Add or upload your guest list into the system on theknot.com….which is awesome because you can link guests into parties that you don’t want separated, color code by gender and print placecards from it. Then from the guest list you can click on create seating chart. You can change the dimensions of your room. The tables that you can add are mostly standard wedding rental sizes available. Good luck.

I’m pretty sure WeddingWire has a section, as well. You input your guestlist spreadsheet. and it’ll arrange people under families, etc.

Yes try home depot and Lowes… if you cannot do it online I know that you can get it done in the actual store for sure

Google sketchup is a 3d modeling program thats free to download. You can make the whole house n use top view to view it as a floorplan. But its not easy to learn….not terribly hard, but not super easy.
