The jewler where Fiance bought my white gold e-ring said they will re-plate mine once a year for free.

I’m so confused by this because I have an antique 18k white gold e ring from the 20’s that I have not taken off at all in 9 months. I just had it cleaned at the jewler when I went to look at bands for the first time. It does not look yellow AT ALL. I thought people only dipped yellow gold jewelry,  or silver to keep it from tarnishing. But then, what I know about jewelry could fit in a thimble, so…..  Tongue out

I’ve had my white gold ring since October and absolutely no yellowing so far! I take it off if I’m taking a shower, doing dishes, swimming, or putting on lotion.
