Onions. Even when they’re chopped super small and cooked I can’t get over the texture when I bite down on one. It literally gives me goosebumps and turns my stomach. Also, I can’t handle the smell of blackeyed peas. I will actually vomit if I’m anywhere near them.

I can’t eat peaches either. Nectarines don’t bother me, but the fuzz on peaches gives me chills of nastiness. I think plums apricots have fuzz too so I don’t eat them either. I also can’t eat Ranch, Mayo, or Miracle whip b/c they’re white and it just grosses me out. I can’t eat tuna with out feeling like I’m going to hurl, the smell/taste is horrendous.

Oysters! I had one and felt sick for hours. I also can’t do tapioca pearls, any yogurt other than whips, mustard and raw fish. I also can’t stand beer, but that’s not food!

This is going to be so weird, but Peeps. Like the little sugar covered marshmallows at Easter. The thought of the sugar rubbing against my teeth just goes right through me…ick! I can barely type this without thinking of it!

Ground meat (unless it comes from my parents farm).
As a kid I refused to eat pizza. There was something about it that freaked me out.

i’ve been a vegetarian since i was 4, so meat weirds me out anyway and would probably make me really sick too. i’ve tried some fish and seafood since getting older, but nothing else.
also i HATE oranges. no idea why really, but i always have! i’m not as picky now as i used to be about it, like i’ll drink sangria even if there’s an orange in it, but yuck! haha

Oh I am definitely with you on Peeps! Ick!

I forgot about Miracle Whip, that stuff is beyond vomit inducing for me

Blue cheese, licorice, and ricotta cheese. The first two taste nasty and my mouth just doesn’t know what to do with the latter. It seems to expand in my mouth and I feel like it’s trying to choke me.

Ewwww I totally didn’t think about this! I’m going to have to ask her now because that makes more sense. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my grade 4 science teacher showed us a video about bugs. For some reason the clip about how bugs can get into your cereal boxes if left open really freaked me out and has stuck with me to this day. I still check my cereal before pouring the milk in!
Your nightmares also reminded me of another crazy food phobia I have. I cannot for the life of me eat at Denny’s. When I was about 4 or 5 we were at a Denny’s in Oregon and someone spotted a cockroach! Well the couple sitting in the booth right against ours started talking about their cockroach problem at home and when I turned around to look at them I was traumatized. They were both so dirty and greasy. The man was wearing a wife beater with sweat stains on it and his pot belly hanging out and the lady had messy hair and horrible teeth. It’s funny because I don’t have too many vivid memories from that age, but this one sure scared me! I now cannot and will not eat at a Denny’s EVER.

I personally refuse to eat pickles! When I was little, I used to pick them off of my burger and give them to my brother. Something about them just grosses me out and it makes sandwiches taste weird!

I hate peeps too! I don’t like bacon or eggplant either.

I am terrified of eggs. If I ever have to use them when I am making food I have someone else crack them and put them in a measuring cup or I have to force myself to crack it, then I wash my hands with HOT water for about 5 min.
I am the same exact way with onions. I don’t mind how they taste I just hate the feeling I get in my teeth when I bite down on them. My SO calls me Woody Harrilson because of it (In the movie Zombieland he talks about how he hates coconut because of the consistency not the taste)

I can eat meat, but never prepare it. You could encircle me in raw chicken breast and I would rather sit there and waste away than touch it to get free. Uugh. The texture of cold meat…eeek! Ground beef? *faints* Making meat loaf?! *Dies!*
Eating wise- deer sausage. FI’s family loves it, I won’t be near it. The smell and texture I just can’t take.

Over time I have become severely allergic to cantelope, honey dew, sometimes watermelon, kiwi and sometimes bananas. I don’t know how one day you can eat it and the next you cant. Weird.
I hate mayo, tapioca pearls, sushi (with and without raw meat), chicken skin (yes I will pull off all the skin whether its fried, baked or otherwise yet I love fried pork skins), sardines, SPAM and pickled anything.
