This thread makes me sad- so many people refusing to try things! That said, I have never had a fast food hamburger in my life. Ever. I mean, a McDonald’s burger is only 3% meat, so I feel like I’m probably not missing out.

I’ll try most everything once- I would draw the line at offal and pet animals.

I could eat sushi and oysters and lobster for all three meals of the day! I’ve tried foie gras and it wasn’t really my thing, but escargot was pretty good.

Also, roasted broccoli is AMAZING.

Shrimp Crab Lobster Squid, Oysters, Jellied eels…..!!!!!!!!!!! Fish sauce Fish in general – apart from cod and tuna. Even then, tuna freaks me out.

I would eat anything if It was served to me as a guest, because I think ti would be rude to refuse to eat something someone had prepared for me. I also find people who insist they don’t like something without trying it ridiculous, and I am not a fan of picky eaters in general. Other than liver I’m not a huge fan of organ meats, and I would prefer not to eat bugs ( snails are fine) other than that I can’t think of much I don’t like to eat. some kinds of fish are a little fishy tatsting for me, but again I would stil eat them if served to me. my four year old eats what we eat and is not picky at all. sometimes she will say she doesn’t like something without trying it and I always tell her she just has to try one bite and she usually ends up liking it and eating it all! Also we are not allowed to spit out food in my house unless it’s rotten, that’s absolutly disgusting behaviour in my mind.

LeopardPrintBee:  Yeah, it isn’t really funny that a duck or goose is force fed and kept in a confined space for all its life. It is disgusting and a shame that some care more about their taste buds than about the welfare of animals. I am not saying that you are one of them by the way.

barbie86:  Yes, I don’t like olives or beetroot either. Good to hear that you wouldn’t eat veal or animals that are still alive. Paul Merton, a british comedian did a documentary in China and that restaurant he went to served him fish that was still alive. He refused to eat it! I don’t blame him. So cruel.

I have yet to try escargot (snails). Im desperate to try them though.

I am pretty adventurous with what I try. I dont like everything I try but I will certainly give anything a go once.

I have eaten, crocodile, aligator, springbok, reindeer, ostrich, Kangaroo, zebra, bison etc.

I would draw the line at dog and cat though!!
