OMG! EABOD sounds like a real word! Pronounced (obviously) “ee-bod.” I may have to use it and refuse to tell people what it means. Teehee.

Just want to pop in to say: if I bug anyone, please let me know. And the acronyms are making me laugh.

I almost want to search for more acronyms to share, but eabod is the only one that came to mind. πŸ˜‰

In one word… Yup!

I have found that the feel of the boards have really changed over the year that I have been here. I like the honesty; however, sometimes this has led to really snarky posters! Which in turn has led to people getting defensive, and I HATE defensiveness.

I wouldn’t say I avoid these posters but I definitely roll my eyes at their posts time and time again!

When I saw this thread was 4 pages I was wondering what kind of name calling would go on in here, I was so paranoid! I’m glad to see it hasn’t turned into a list of bees people hate, and that’s what makes me like it here πŸ™‚ If there were a bee or two I didn’t like, they didn’t stick around long enough for me to notice. I really hate the thought of people not liking me (a people pleaser) so I hope I’m cool enough for this place, haha!

I can’t think of any times when I’ve actually been really annoyed with someone who wasn’t a troll.  I do think there are people I wouldn’t really be friends with in real life, but none that I’d want to slap or actually dislike.  Mostly it’s just that I find that a lot of the bees have really different backgrounds, beliefs, and values than I do, being that I am super non-religious and a fairly radical feminist.

Honestly, I LIKE that there’s people are totally different from me.  Weddingbee has actually been really great for seeing other people’s opinions, since offline my social group is a lot more homogenous – almost everyone lives together before marriage, waits until 30 to have kids, etc.  It can be kind of shocking to my worldview to see people coming from really different places who are still nice, intelligent people.  But I am someone who belives that shocks to your worldview are a good thing.

I only worry that sometimes I come off like a broken record, stating the same opinions over and over on the few issues I have a strong opinion on.  Or just really longwinded, which I definitely am!

Since I am fairly new, I can’t think of anyone that I don’t like.  So far I have found most of the posts to be fun and helpful, and the bees are the same way!  Hopefully I am not an annoying new-bee though!!

Yep!  There are a couple of posters that drive me crazy but I’m sure I drive some people crazy too.  I was really expecting people to name names in this post.  So glad it hasn’t turned into that.

This thread totally stirs up the paranoia lol!!  I know I’ve said a few snarky things… and i felt really bad about it after-the-fact!  Now I try to keep it PC while still making my point.  I can’t say there’s anyone who stands out to me that I don’t like… I remember finding one chick once who was always sounding so negative, all her comments and posts were SO defensive (usually without provocation) but I couldn’t remember her name now if I tried.  I didn’t dislike her tho, I just felt bad for her. There are def some girls who stand out to me for being super sweet all the time though (meliss) πŸ™‚

Another thing that annoys me, when people complain about certain boards!  If you don’t like them, don’t read them.  Simple solution πŸ™‚

Other than “trollers,” I can only think of one poster who was consistently snarky in response to a few different threads, and I didn’t like that vibe. I also figure there are some who I wouldn’t be friends with if we knew each other, but I don’t think I’d “dislike” them. I’m starting to get used to different personalities that come out on people’s posts. And there are some whose replies to questoins I definitely look forward to, since I’ve noticed that their perspectives can be really helpful!

There are one or two bees I don’t really like but also only one blogger I cant even read their posts anymore so annoying… But I love everyone else!  I know everyone has their days so sometimes I just let the comments go.

Oh my goodness, this thread is fascinating… and causing me to be totally paranoid! I realize that a couple of times I have been snarky or reduntant… sorry if anyone was refering to my stuff!!

I love the bee because of all the different perspectives! I think its fun watching the drama unfold with the crazy bees and the sweetness of the other bees. So, for me, nope! I like all of them! Although I do think some are more on the ball than others.

To all the other paranoid bees who posted before, I, for one, can say not a single one of you has bothered me… hope that helps! πŸ™‚

I don’t hate or actively dislike anyone, but I do have to say that sometimes the oversensitivity on WB can be overwhelming. By and large this is a lovely community, but like any family I think people have to learn that it is okay to disagree and maybe even have long drawn out discussions on the subject without nursing resentment or constantly assuming that people are being rude. In a nutshell, I don’t particularly care for bees who cannot differentiate dissention from rudeness.
