@Equine_Breeder:  Same here – officiant and caterer… And I’m behind on planning everything else too = But I’m not too worried! Yet!

We’ve waited to start planning the honeymoon or book a videographer, because we just don’t have the budget for them right now. 🙁 Future Father-In-Law keeps saying he’s going to help us pay for them and then never follows through, so I guess we’re just stuck unless we get more help. :/

otherwise, we’re ordering our centerpieces tonight. I put that off for a while because its a LOT of stuff we need to sit down and order. Ugh

My FH and I haven’t ordered a cake yet or have ordered invitations.  We’re planning the wedding long-distance, so we’re trying to glob a bunch of appointments in one visit.

hair and makeup are my big issues at the moment – I have a very small bridal party and I didn’t want to have someone come out bc then its all crazy and congested…. plus there is a salon/spa only a mile away.

the issue is that is  2.5 hrs from my house and I still can’t find a good weekend to do the trial…. I just need to figure it out!

The rehearsal dinner. It has been a HUGE issue from the very beginning. My Future In-Laws are not in much of a position to help pay for much with regards to the wedding planning. My mom wants to have everyone from out of town at the Rehearsal Dinner. (Really, it will be pretty much a welcome party!) The guest list is really large and we’ve been fighting over it from the get-go. Just… DRAMA. So we’ve been avoiding it, until I realized just the other day that we are really running out of time. We need to figure it out so that we can order invites and get a decent venue. UGH.

finding a lunch location

shoes/hair/makeup

invitations

favors if there are any

designing my veil

actually ordering my dress (although I have already been in contact with the designer and the fabric is being dyed)

buying rings

writing vows

a guestbook

thank god we’re not doing a honeymoon until feb!

@Equine_Breeder:  I’m with you!  I spend a lot of time researching stuff, book a vendor, and then swear off more planning for awhile.

We put off finding a photographer and picking out bridesmaids dresses until a couple weeks ago, and now that those are done I’m feeling okay.

We haven’t started planning our honeymoon at all, and I have designed our DIY invitations but haven’t actually got any paper to start making them.  But this weekend I will… definitely… unless there’s something good on tv.

I still have so much to do! But the one thing I can honestly say I procrastinated on was a caterer.. I just hate it. I didn’t like anything about trying to find one…lol

We still haven’t booked one yet. Although, we know who we are going with and just have to put our deposit down.
