There’s no way any of them could afford to fly out for the wedding? I would say you should definitely invite them (apologies if you were already planning to!), can you live stream the ceremony so they can watch?

Is there really no way you can honeymoon in the USA? I would consider cutting back on other things to make that possible.

You could fly to America and have another ‘ceremony’ with your FI’s family at a later date?

Do a marriage reception on your 1 yr anniversary. My sister and now brother in law elopsd in Vegas with their best friends parents and grandparents.  Pretty much whoever could afford to make it. It was 6 guests. But they held a reception in her hometown and his hometown since one is from the east coast and one from the west coast. They did their receptions 8 months and a year later than had their honeymoon after their last reception. it’s whatever yall decide to do and think is best. My sister did stream her ceremony live and 350 people watched it. Yeah families are big. But good luck and honestly being your invites are already out kinda late on thinking about his side now. Should have a while ago.

I disagree that there would be no point in celebrating a year after your wedding when you make it to the US. Have a party and include his family, they’ll have the chance to celebrate your first year of marriage with you.

Also, try your best to make it possible for him to have some family come over for the ceremony. If your Fiance can’t pick a family member to fly over, have the family choose themselves who wants to come. It doesn’t make sense to have no one from his family there because he can’t make the decision.
