@chouette:  This dress certainly can be altered. The seamstress would just take it in at the side seams. Beautiful gown, by the way!

Great dress! Can definitely be altered. Can you maybe hold off a bit until you’ve lots some weight? Easier to just buy a smaller size than alter it!

@chouette:  You shouldn’t have any issues. Plus, if it’s too too big, David’s will usually swap a smaller size, no problem!

From my understanding, David’s dresses are made so that they can be sized up 2 sizes larger and down 4 sizes lower. I would probably bank on alterations at the shop being around $200.
