sweetandsour1234:  Even though edible favors are often eaten at the event, a favor is really something that can be taken home.

sweetandsour1234:  I would say not really, it’s basically serving dessert. But you’re also not required to have a favor.

sweetandsour1234:  Is this in lieu of dessert?  Or are you serving the traditional cake as well?  Either way, I think it’s awesome.

I hate wedding favors unless they are food.

Something you eat at the venue does not count as a favor. You could do something like cookies or brownies you get to take home as a favor instead!

I wouldn’t call it a favor, but it certainly sounds tasty! I would not be displeased!

I wouldn’t call it a favor, but I wouldn’t miss favors if they weren’t provided.

Not a favor, but yes, this. Please.

(You don’t need favors at all–people won’t notice if you don’t have them and I remember reading something by Emily Post in which she outlines why they’re kind of a ridiculous addition to wedding ‘traditions’: they’re for children, who may need a little help getting over the disappointment of all the presents and attention going to one child. Adults should not need this crutch.)

It may not technically be a favor but since favors aren’t required I wouldn’t worry about it. It sounds awesome!

Not really a favor, but still tasty!  You could do this in place of favors and would probably have happy guests. Our favors were 2 or 3 dollars per person.

It’s not a favor but I’d rather have an ice team truck at the wedding than a favor.

Please have the ice cream truck. It sounds great and I would totally have had one myself if we weren’t getting married in a cold month

Another vote for no favour and this instead 🙂
