Sounds yummy!  The only change I would suggest is to cut the corn on the cob – too messy in dress clothes, and replace with a green salad.

@ThreeMeers:  Corn salad would be great.  My mom makes one for every single BBQ that she goes to every summer, and its normally gone.  It’s corn, green pepper, tomato, red onion, and a vinegar, garlic, oil and spices dressing.  I pep it up with black beans and cilantro.

everything sounds great. the only thing I would ask is if there are any people attending who don’t eat meat, as you have no vegetarian “main”

Love the corn salad idea over the corn on the cob, only because its less messy!

One suggestion on your hambuger slider bar; why not offer beef and turkey burgers? Just to add a little spin to it? I love both type of burgers, and maybe throw in some different types of cheese options instead of just american?

What about adding mini cornbread muffins? Easy to make in mini muffin pans, self served, and people love them, goes good with BBQ food.

Just a suggestion. Your menu is perfect. πŸ™‚

Veggie or black bean burgers would be a good addition πŸ™‚

We’re doing the same thing and I swear it’s like we’re feeding a small army (or Navy to be more correct with the crowd). But then again, we will be having over 200 guests

We’re doing:

Smoked Ribs (Two different spice rubs)

Smoked Pulled Pork (with a variety of rolls for sandwiches

4 different types of BBW sauce

Meatballs

Bacon Wrapped Dates

Potato Salad

Caesar Salad

Fruit Salad

Olive Platter (my whole side of the family is nuts about olives)

Veggie Platter

Fruit Platter

Lemon Flavored Water

Aqua Blue Lemonade (one of my wedding colors)

Coffee

Iced Tea

Assortment of Polish Chocolates

Cupcake Tower

I think there is more but I can’t even keep track and I’m trying not to lol. We’re making all over our food, and hiring help to serve the food only. My aunt loves doing this stuff, so she and my cousin are going to hand all the stuff besides the meat. That will be my dad’s department
