(Closed) Is this a good plan for tipping my vendors?

You should be tipping based on the non-discounted price.  So that would mean a bump up for the DOC.  But I would skip tipping the photographers, as they own their own business.

I also think 10% for the servers is a little low.  I would bump that up to 20% at least.

I agree that you should tip more for the catering company.  They are going to be working for 9 hours+, they should be receiving at least 20% tip if not more.

 

It’s not necessary to tip your photographer.

I would tip the DOC $40 (20%), the caterers $50 each (20% of the 1635 divided by 7 is 46 pp and I rounded up). You don’t need to tip the photographers. Hair and makeup depends on the price, but I would aim for 20% (which I’m guessing you’re probably at or above).
