I have been lucky enough to only experience headaches a handful of times a year. But last night I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain I’ve experienced and I’m wondering… Is this just a migraine? Or should I go have it checked out?
It felt like the same kind of head pain when I don’t dry my hair enough and go into cold weather. It’s like a tight throbbing pain that comes in waves on the back upper part of my head. And behind one of my eyes it was painfulNAND achey. It got a lot worse after I stood up to use the bathroom.
Im trying to make it through work today and I want to figure out what this is so I can make it better!

That is exactly what I was getting. It is a type of migrane, but it actually comes from muscles in the neck. I found taking Aleve and putting my heating pad at the base of my skull got rid of it within an hour. You may want to look into seeing a chiropracter, I used to get them all the time before I found my chiro, and they went completely away until I quit going and I regretted not going.

Thanks! I googled migraines last night and i read that migraines don’t hurt the back of your head, only the top and sides so I wasn’t sure. I wanted to make sure my eye wasn’t about to fall out of my head 😉 man, migraines really suck!
