I just took a HPT with lines and got the result on the left. The line in the pregnancy box is light blue compared to the control line. Does that matter? Help me read this please…my Darling Husband and I are on pins and needles!

Yes. It’s positive if that is a line that showed up within 5 minutes. Most people will recommend getting a pink FRER test to compare because blue dye tests suck. When I tested on vacation blue dye tests were all that we could find and my result looked like that and got darker every day.

I think I took that same brand test 14 months ago… Definitely was positive for me when it looked like that!

I think it’s positive, but I would definitely be getting a pink dye FRER. I don’t trust blue dye tests.

cherrypie: we’re on our honeymoon and in the same boat you were in. This was the only brand we could find.
I do have one leftover Clearblue digital test which I will try tomorrow morning tobe doubly sure. It doesn’t feel real! Also, based on LMP the due date would be December 25. 😮

Off to the store to buy a pink due test. I don’t want to be celebrating a false positive!

My blue dye BFP looked JUST like that. As long as it showed up within the timeframe on the box it looks good! I didnt trust mine either, but I confirmed with an FRER. Let us know how it goes with the pink dye!

QueenGreen: yeah, it showed up within 1-2 minutes and I’m 13 DPO. Patiently waiting to drive to Target after dinner to start a testing spree!

Ok, tried again with a FRER. Funny story: I just had to go at Target and couldn’t hold it any longer. So we celebrated outside the public restrooms. 🙂

Congrats. No more mojito for you, lady (not for a while anyway).
