I think that the fact that it has biased pleating makes it look more mermaid than it actually is.. I think it is a very slight trumpet but it could ALMOST be an A-line.

I would say mermaid.  I get what PP is saying about it almost being a drop waist A line, but I think the tight part comes down too far on your legs for that.

I don’t think it’s A-line or dropped waist.  I’d say fit and flare since one side is higher.  Otherwise I’d call it a mermaid.  But a rose by any other name… ๐Ÿ™‚
