Not weird at all.  I’ve heard lots of couples do that.  🙂  Have fun!  I’m jealous, haha!

I’m not sure it’s weird, but it’s definitely not romantic.  I think of it as a place to take a family, and a place I will have to go in the future after we have kids.  For our honeymoon, Darling Husband and I chose an adults only spa resort.  We just wanted to relax in a place without children and families.  Disneyworld was a place I wanted to go as a child, but not as an adult.

Not weird! We wanted to go, but it’s so expensive.

I don’t think it’s weird. We were initially planning a Disney honeymoon because I’d never been, but then got the general impression that Universal Studios is more fun, so we’re going there instead (and Sea World).

Sitting on a beach doing nothing is just not our idea of a good time. We’ll probably be wiped out at the end of it but we like to have fun and do things. Plus the whole honeymoon is right at about 2k with everything included for 6 nights so the price is right, too.

    Gosh no…

Disney is a fabulous Destination no matter what the occasion, or age of the travellers.

    Enjoy !!

Its not my personal preference but it’s not weird at all. There are quite a few bees around here that are going to Disney for either their wedding or honeymoon or even both!

We love roller coasters, etc and I wanted to go to 6 Flags over Texas(either one, Dallas or SanAn)…but, we’d have to wait several months after our wedding to go. So I definitely don’t think it’s weird! However, I’d definitely do Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure along with it. Sure, there’s coasters etc at DW/DL but Universal has the best ones, and the movie rides. If you can find a week long park hopper pass, you’d possibly enjoy it more!

That’s if you were going to FL. In Cali, I’d definitely hop over to Knotts Berry Farm, and the other park out there(I don’t remember the name offhand).

I think it’s cute. I think they call this a “sweetheart honeymoon.” Have fun!

@Firemansgirl:  I’ve heard that lots of people go there either to get engaged, or for honeymoons. Not weird at all IMO.

I don’t think it’s weird at all. Are you from California or is your wedding just going to be there? How about a trip to Disney World? It’s bigger and more of a multiple day thing. Disneyland is more of two half days back to back and then you’re done.
