Hi bees. I’m stuck on a processional song. The aisle is short and there’s only 4 members in the bridal party. I found this fun, pretty cover of a beach boys song. It doesnt scream ‘wedding’, but its really light and everyone knows the tune. What do you think? Will it work?
edit: I can’t post a link on my phone. Sorry you’ll have to copy/paste :/

@krex: can you post a link to the cover – I think it really depends on the version. I’m walking to a cover of a song by ‘The Used’ but if you didn’t actually hear the cover version you’d think I was insane (and I’m sure some people do anyways)

I think it’s cute! If you like it, go for it. It’s certainly not traditional, but I think that doesn’t matter so much anymore (I didn’t do any traditional ceremony music, and I liked it way better ).

It’s a bit faster than what I would usually think of for a processional song, but if you’re going for something light and upbeat, it could work!

I like the song, the version is a smidge fast for my taste– if you’re set on using it, what about using it for the recessional and finding something a bit slower for your entrance ?

Love it! Definitely look at covers. They can make all the difference if you’re debating it being “wedding-y” or not

I like this song, but I agree that it may be too fast.
