I love the look of gowns when they have been altered to have a dip in the back. I think it can be a lot more flattering (when you aren’t so perfect back there lol) and I would love to do this to my dress. But I’m wondering, is it possible to do this to a dress that has a corset back? And if it is, is this a pricey alteration?

I would think it’s possible, your alterations person would just need to snip off a few loops from the corset and shorten the strings. Price is something I have no idea on, but I’d bet it’s along the lines of having boning put in, adding fabric, taking in the sides or cutting the cup size down most likely. I’d ask the salon or whoever you’re considering for alterations, but that sounds pretty do-able.

Im sure it is not hard to do – I had this done with my dress but it was not a corset back!
