I swear I have the hardest time finding dresses to wear as a wedding guest. I have a wedding I’m attending in two months and I came across this dress online. I love this light blue/mint green color and love the style of the dress. However, since there is a cream lace overlay, I’m not sure if it would be ok to wear as a wedding guest. What are your thoughts on this dress? Yay or Nay?

I think it’s acceptable, and very cute.

I think it’s nice and totally ok

Cute dress. Not sure if it fits you like the model, but for me I would think it’s a bit too short to wear to a wedding.

AutumnRose781: my only concern would be the formality of the wedding. It’s a cute dress and totally appropriate for say a daytime outdoor wedding. But, it would be a bit casual for a more formal, evening affair.

Cute dress, but it’s pretty casual and very short. I personally wouldn’t wear it to a wedding.

I don’t think the lace would be an issue as the dress itself is a non-bride color. It’s a bit short, but very cute. I guess it just depends on how it fits you. 🙂

It kind of looks like lingerie to me.

AutumnRose781: That is so cute! I think as long as you aren’t model tall then it should be fine.

AutumnRose781: I think the cream lace overlay is fine as it reads as a mint green dress.
Every time someone posts a pic of a dress from Modcloth , Bees comment on how short it is. People forget that the models are tall++. They give the length of the dress right on the website so it’s easy to ensure that it’s long enough.
