Trying to figure out if this is an ok gift or not for a wedding present…
A very good friend of mine is getting married next month!! I normally like to give a gift card for the store(s) that the couple is registered to so they can use it to buy anything not purchased. When I asked where they were registered, she said they aren’t, and that her Fiance didn’t think they needed anything. Instead of giving an impersonal gift of a check, I would like to give them a gift card for the local baseball stadium, as they go to a lot of games, and call it a “date night gift”. Is that weird? Would you be offended to get a gift like this, or would you think its cool and useful, especially if you go to games/do that specific hobby? It would be for $100 so they can get lots of dates!

If they go to the games I think that’s a very cute gift!

If that’s what I was really into with my partner then I’d think it was a great and thoughtful gift. =)

If that’s what they do, then it’s a great gift.

Only thing to consider is – do they already have ‘season tickets’? If they do… can they still use the gift card? (Maybe for food/merchandise? or to purchase next year’s season pass?)
