I’d like your opinion, bees. My period is very regular and af comes every 29-30 days. When it was due nothing came for almost a week! I was so excited that maybe I was pregnant but I was going to hold off for 1 more day to test….but on this past Friday (6th day of no af) as I was walking home from work I felt wetness down there. When I got home I saw a mixture of what looked like Ewcm and light brownish pinkish stuff and a couple of dark brown-red globby bits. I freaked out bc this was our first time ttc and I’ve never seen this type of stuff come out of me! About 45 minutes later more stuff came out of me but it resembled period blood more or less maybe with some bits of clots.
Today I’m still bleeding, but I’m wondering did I have a miscarriage? I didn’t have much cramping or any back pain (I read you would have those symptoms if you miscarried). And whatever this is isn’t like my usual period where I would be cramping a lot to begin with….and it would obvs start on time. It is implantation bleeding? I don’t know 🙁
I’m going to the doc on Friday but would love to hear your opinion

If it’s a miscarriage, a pregnancy test would probably still be positive. You could take one and see.

I did, bfn …..maybe just a really really weird period?

I had similar bleeding with my CP, but had terrible cramps along with it. My pregnancy tests were positive for a week, but went negative the day after I started bleeding. It could have been a CP. Sorry, I know how tough it is! You get so excited, and then it’s over. I hope you have good luck this month!

Could very well be a ‘chemical pregnancy'(very early miscarriage). That early, your hormones would have been pretty low to begin with, so it is hard to know. I think if you were pregnant currently, you would have a positive test by now, and that sounds kind of heavy for implantation bleeding. Without having tested previously, I don’t think you can tell if it was a chemical or just a weird cycle. I would probably just go with your gut instinct. Either way, I think you will be fine to continue ttc as planned. If weird stuff keeps happening though, it doesn’t hurt to ask a doctor just to make sure.

Thanks for the input guys! 🙂 I had no idea how consuming and emotionally draining all this is 🙁

No way to tell without having had a positive test. With my CP I had a significant amount of cramping and heavier bleeding with large clots, but that doesn’t mean that’s what everyone will experience. I hope you get your BFP soon!
