I bought a bunch of those salt rock candles… We will have them on the tables as part of the centerpieces, and then they can be taken home by our guests. We are getting married at a winery that is close to the Colorado National Monument. The guest will all be able to see the beautiful rocks of the mOnument and the colors that bounce off during sunset. I thought these rock candles would be a nice remembrance of their time at the wedding. Is that an ok favor? Or is a favor supposed to be something else?

I like how you are bringing in the location for your favors, Great idea!

I think that type of favor is fine, however, guests are more likely to take something edible.

Thanks guys!! So, @YSQueen~ Do you think I should also do an additional favor that is edible?

@sierra.dewolfe: I wouldn’t spend extra money on another favor. I would just do one or the other. But maybe you want to consider doing one per couple/family or something like that so you can lessen the chance of many being left over plus you won’t spend as much.

The candy would totally be good enough.

I think that sounds beautiful and ties in nicely with the location- but will they be idk like decorated or have a ribbon or something- you know something to make it look favour-y , as apposed to ust part of the decor?
Hope that helps!

I like the candle idea ! I wouldn’t do a separate edible favour, but if you want something for your guests to much on you could do bowls full of snacks or candies on each table.

The candles sound great. You don;t need to add anything else.
