    I think it’s fine as long as it’s not a formal/semi-formal wedding.

I can’t imagin a maxi dress being acceptable attire to wear to a wedding. While it’s very cute, I automatically think beach and not wedding. But since they did say cowboy boots, then maybe it’s a casual backyard affair. Do you know anyone else who is attendting that might know how casual the weeding is?

I think that dress would go great with cowboy boots!

If ladder ball and horseshoes are reception activities that dress is just fine.

Sounds like it’s going to be more along the lines of a graduation party so you’re good.

It wouldn’t have been appropriate for my wedding, so I think that’s why I’m hesitating. But if the wedding you’re attending seems like it will be a more casual affair, I think it would work.

If cowboy boots are okay (per the invite), then that dress would seem to fit the dress code perfectly… casual but cute!

I would say if you question it, it’s a no.  My wedding is outside by a lake, cowboy boots are obviously OK with me (seeing that I am from Nashville) but this dress… not so much.  It would seem like you didn’t try and it looks like it belongs on the beach.  Too casual for me… sorry.
