What is your question?

Does anyone think having the wedding you can afford is a bad thing? No, definitely not.

If everyone would enjoy this and you can afford it, a pot luck wedding sounds fun!

cdpslh913059487:  As long as the important people who you want to be there can make it that is all that matters. I think some people put a little too much thought into having to please and accomodate all of their guests, but at the end of the day this is your wedding day – I think it is better to have some people not be able to make it rather than having to spend more money to accomodate everyone.

It certainly sounds like it’ll be a fun event for everyone, I really wish I could have such a fun wedding!

You don’t need favors, flowers, decor, cake topper, etc if you don’t have the money for them. Based on your past posts, I would skip all the unnecessary stuff like that and put the money where it’s more needed.

This is how weddings were traditionally done in older times. It was more about guests celebrating the couple, not the couple throwing a big party. People would bring a dish to share with others and generally have a good time. I think this sounds like a great idea, and very affordable.

It sounds like fun. I would love to be able to do something like that with our families. I hope it works out for you!
