    I don’t think you’d have a problem wearing the dress to the wedding, but if I were you, I wouldn’t wear it.  I just don’t like to wear any white to a wedding.

    Yep!  Wear a black cardigan or shawl and you’re golden.  I second the no white shoes comment, too.  It’s a really cute dress!

    I would be fine with that at my wedding. It’s mostly pattern and it has a black band at the waist so it’s perfectly acceptable. I agree with PPs though that you should opt for a black shoe to emphasize the fact that you aren’t trying to show up in white. Bring along a black cardigan or shrug to wear if you get chilly and it will be perfect 🙂
