    I’m pregnant and I find it funny. If I read this during a hormonal moment though, I probably would be super offended lol.

    I think it depends on the friendships you have. I would totally expect that from my friends, because that’s how we are. I don’t think it’s worth anyone getting their panties in a knot over.

    @TerraMarie11: LOL! stock pile it.

    I also think it’s hilarious. As other PP’s have said, knowing your audience is key.

    haha I like it!!! Anyone who gave me that card would know I would think it’s funny, but I’m not easily offended.  Definitely did not need to alert the news.  Some people are so sensitive!

    Edited: I agree, definitely know your audience!  I can see it being funny and also offensive depending.  I certainly don’t think it should be pulled off shelves.

    As several PP’s have said – know your audience and you’re good. My mom and her BFF’s husband have a little ‘war’ every year where they send each other the worst, most offensive, awful cards they can find and send them (sometimes multiple ones) for their birthdays.

    Could be offensive, but…like everyone says, know your audience! Don’t give it to someone whou might find it offensive!

    (but then again, hey, you could give any card about pregnancy to someone who wasn’t pregnant, and they’d probably be offended, but that doesn’t mean we should remove them all from the shelves!)

    I think it is funny and if I recieved it, I’d laugh.

    It’s all about knowing your audience and only buying the specific card for certain people.  There are plenty of other “congrats on your pregnancy” cards if you don’t think this one is the best fit for your situation.

    @Miss Olive: OH MAN! I wish someone would have gotten me that card. I was always the most sexually experianced of my group of close girlfriends, so they *always* asked me questions as they came up. I totally joke about myself, and how I used to be slutty before I met DH.

    I would have loved a card like that.

    I’m neutral.  I wouldn’t be offended it I got it, but I probably wouldnt buy it for anyone for fear that they would be.  I disagree that it should be removed from store shelves though.  Some people would love it, if you dont, then move on and dont buy it.

    In general, I bristle at women calling their friends derrogatory names like slut, whore, and b*tch.  When I worked with college freshmen, I noticed it a lot and I told them that if they wanted to sound smart, they’d find far more interesting words to use.

    I understand that some people say people who use derrogatory words with their friends are “reclaiming” a title that was used against them in the past, but I think some words shouldn’t be used to describe anyone.

    But I work with students, so my view is skewed.

    I feel old.
