Haha not with a celebrity, but I had a bit of a meltdown last week after running into an old ex. I was totally irrational, telling myself that now there was no chance I would end up with him because I was taking myself off the market for good by marrying FH. It lasted for a few days and I was honestly obsessed with it, but then I had to slap myself in the face- metaphorically ;)- and remind myself of why I love my FH and why that guy was totally wrong for me. It didn’t help that FH was away on business and I was in total PMS, but it still did happen. I think a little bit of cold feet so close to your wedding is normal. Just keep reminding yourself of why you love your FH if you’re having a hard time.

I think the stress takes its toll and makes us all a little nutty sometimes. Have a low-key, romantic night with your FH and I think you’ll be just fine! πŸ˜‰

Please tell me I’m not the only one dying to know who the celeb crush is!  lol πŸ˜‰

In such a closed circle I will admit to being ridiculously crazy about Leonardo Dicaprio back when Titanic was all over the place…hehehe….

I think you need to sit yourself down and say, “Self, we need a reality check.”

All those things you’re thinking about not being able to do now because you’ll be married/too old/not in at that point in your life anymore? Do you think if you weren’t getting married you would actually go do those things? If it was never your lifelong dream to go backpacking around Europe/climb Everest/eat deep fried tarantulas in South America with Johnny Depp before you started planning a wedding, then yes, your head is probably messing with you.

If you do feel you have valid unfinished business of some sort that you need to address before getting married, now is the time to figure that out and have a chat with your Fiance about it. Marriage doesn’t mean the end of the world as you know it, but he has the right to be in the know if there is anything you will regret not doing before you make this commitment.

@GDub: Haha I am an English teacher and love to show the DiCaprio version of Romeo and Juliet as a reward at the end of the year because he is soooo delicious! πŸ˜‰

@Bubu82: I find it interesting that you’ve fixated so much on someone that’s been out of the limelight for quite some time. How did you find him to be this interested? Was it just a happen-stance kind of thing where you saw him in a magazine one day, or are you a really big extreme fan anyway? I find this fascinating. πŸ™‚

Okay, this post makes me laugh.

I have a MASSIVE crush on a celebrity myself, and am totally unreasonable about it as well. I’m already married, but he is on my “celebrity hit list”… a list of celebs that you and your husband decide, that, if given the opportunity, you could have sex with and it would be okay.

In fact, this celebrity is performing a mere 10 miles away from me right now, and its KILLING me not to go down there and try to find him after the show. πŸ˜‰

Sad thing is, he plays a teenage gay guy on tv. It’s Darren Criss from Glee (Blaine)!

Drool.

… With a side of Ryan Phillippe. (Sorry, I’m done now. Otherwise, I might get myself into trouble)
