sherylki:  Someone wore that color to our wedding.  I wore an ivory dress.  The colors were VERY close.

I would not wear it to the wedding bc it looks almost white, even though it’s not white.  Plus, it is rather short, and otherwise kind of resembles a bridesmaid-style dress.  Just my take, otherwise it’s pretty, of course.

Have to echo what others have said… it appears to be too close to white and most likely too short (of course, this depends on where it falls on you). Of course, it being “too short” is relative to the formality and location (bad idea for formal church wedding, maybe fine for a casual beach wedding).

The dress is gorgeous though! Since it’s such a light color, you may be able to have it dyed. Personally, I would just find a dress I was sure was fit for the occasion.

It is too close too white. I wouldn’t wear it.

The color looks too bridal for me, and it looks quite short as well.

Absolutely not, it sends off that desparate “hoping to upstage the bride” look. It’s a pretty dress, but NOT for someone else’s wedding!!! Save it for your own rehearsal dinner, or a party or something!

Personally, I wouldn’t mind it if you are wearing  accessoris with some black or a bright color.
