@Luayne:  This is the dress I want:

It has gorgeous sheer capped sleeves with beading on them. I’d love to find a matching pair of shoes, wear my hair in a half updo with ringlets down my back, have a pair of black opera gloves, dark blood red roses and roses in my hair. Wear blood red rubies on my neck and ears. That is my dream. Very Phantom of the Opera/Titanic.

Wear whatever makes YOU feel like a bride.

Personally, I looove colored dresses.

I originally wanted to wear a colored dress, and then I went to a wedding recently…and when the doors opened and the bride walked in the color white was just so striking, it almost made me emotional. Ever since that feeling I got, now I’m not sure if I want white or color. So torn!!

Color is not “less bridal”. Read up on the history of bridal dresses and you’ll get a different perspective.

For me, that dress you chose is too poofy. That’s just me though, maybe you love poofy dresses! That’s totally ok!

I think with a bouquet and veil, it could plenty bridal. You could even do a reverse color crinoline. You know how brides have been dying their crinolines various colors? You could make yours white to match the bridesmaids dresses. It would look really interesting.
