Negative. Test line has to be at least as dark as the control line.
rockstarlove9: I got a crappy batch of wondfos I think. I haven’t been able to get a positive with a single one of the 50 yet. So I have some that only got as dark as your picture but I ended up considering it a positive because I ovulated like normal that day. They did increase in color a little bit from the prvious OPKs I took but they were still no where near a true dark positive. so that is what I went off of- plus I get cramps and then my temps show ovulation. As long as temps confim you ovulated, it could be a crappy wondfo or you could have missed your surge.
turkeysausage: but what if They never get darker then that. I temp everday and this is the darkest it gets before starting to fade away and eventually go completely white. I read online some women’s never get as dark I know for sure mines never does and I know for sure I ovulate because my temps confirm it as well as cm. So would this be considered positive for me if this is what I get the day before ovulation?
kes18: yeah I considered this my positive as well and I ovulated the next day I had ewcm, and even ovulation bleeding and my temperatures confirmed on ff. I know this considered close to a positive but this is the closest it came the one the next day barely had a second line and the one the following day was white. I only test once per day perhaps if I dont get my bfp this cycle I’ll try and increase the times I check per day. Thank you for answer now I don’t feel like I’m grasping at straws here
Try a different brand if you’re concerned about it.
How often do you test? You might just be missing the actual surge, or have a short one.
I have also heard OPKs just don’t work for some women. If temps and CM confirm it, I’d say you o’ed.
rockstarlove9: No, you’re not completely crazy! I have been temping for over a year now and I am pretty good and knowing when I ovulate. I got positive wondfos before this batch (they got just as dark as the control line- but never darker) and this batch I can’t get a single *true* positive. They start barely there, get a little darker, and then fade back out. But I take them at the same time every day as I always have and my other signs and temps show I ovulate as normal. I am going to get some easy @ home ones next time I need some to try those out- they are also cheap from amazon.
You could be missing your surge as well, hard to say. But if your temps and other signs confirm O then I would say you definitely are ovulating.
Buy a box of clear blue and use them to confirm. I have found CB to be very accurate.
Also, test twice a day.
saratiara2: I only test once a day usually around 215 pm because i read online somewhere that the best time to do it is between 200 230. I guess that it is possible i miss the surge or perhaps ill try a different brand since this seems to be the darkest i have ever gotten and ive used them for three months and confirmed ov with every month. Thank you
If I was doing twice id do morning (to maybe catch a surge from the previous day) and afternoon.
It’s entirely possibly you’re missing your surge. I get my positives around 6-9pm at night (on the same days my OPKS are as light as yours even at 4pm), and can get another positive with FMU the day after. If you want to check, next cycle when your strips start to darken like that start testing later (do a hold before bedtime) or add a FMU test every day to catch the leftover surge in your morning urine.
My guess is that you’re missing your surge. If you’ve been temping, do you have a rough idea when you ovulate? I would start taking tests a few days before you think you will ovulate, and I would take them 2-3 times a day. One in the morning, one midday and one in the evening.
The topic ‘Is this considered positive??? Its the darkest I ever get and temp confirms i ov’ is closed to new replies.
