Too casual….if you’re going to go short dress for a fancy wedding, make sure it’s a fancy fabric or embellished – like satin or sequins.
The good news is you can wear this dress a bunch! It’s appropriate for a lot of occassions, but not a formal wedding

I agree, too casual for a formal wedding. The cutouts really add to the informality of it. I’d try to find a long dress, but if you really want cocktail length, it needs to be fancier than that.

I agree, the dress is too informal for the dress code and cutouts can be seen as provocative at a wedding with that dress code.

Sorry but same thing. I would wear it to an informal for sure but not a formal dress code.

I thought the dress is perfectly fine for formal with the right accessories, shoes, hair and makeup… but apparently not by consensus! :O

I love the dress and cutouts, I think it’s sexy without being too provocative. However the material of the dress does make it seem a little informal if your date is wearing a dark suit and tie. It might look different in person and dressed up with the right shoes and accessories…

Too informal. Plus, I would be cautious of wearing a dress with peekaboo cutouts to a formal event.

you can see the model’s belly button. I don’t think anything else needs to be said here.

You put my thoughts into words. I do not find belly buttons attractive or formal.

Well, it’s described as Peekaboo embroidery adds a hint of modern allure to a ribbed fit-and-flare dress that’s a date-night standby. So no . Especially as it’s a belly button doing the peeking.
