I probably wouldn’t wear that. I’m always thinking so many pictures end up being waist up that a white, lace sweetheart neckline could totally look like a “who’s the b that wore white to your wedding” moment In the future, even of it looks ok in person.

I would say absolutely with the black and white version…the cream one I’m a little more on the fence about. WHile I know it doesn’t look bridal, I have to be honest and say that if I saw a woman wearing it at a wedding  I would think she was being a little insensitive to the bride by wearing such light colors. Maybe it’s just because I have had a few friends who have worn cream colored dresses, I dunno. I would mostly ask, how do you think the bride would react to it? If you know she won’t care, go for it. If you don’t know her well or if you aren’t sure, I would probably say to stay clear just in case.

I wouldn’t care if someone wore that to my wedding. There’s absolutely no way it would be confused who was getting married, and it’s cute. Although, some brides will go crazy on you for wearing anything with the smallest speck of white on it.

Cute dress! If you’re worried about it looking out of place, you could maybe wear a coloured cardigan with it or some coloured jewellery or handbag? Otherwise I think the length of the dress makes it look less “traditional” bridal, in my opinion.

@laurn88:  +1 i dont think i would be offended if someone wore that at my wedding.. but im sure theres some who will :/

@Jezika:  thats a great suggestion! to add some color and kind of take away from the white/cream look! i think a teal or coral color will look stunning!

@cassd13:  It’s definitely a cute dress! I think I would probably wear that myself to a wedding. Do you know the bride well? Do you think she’s laid back about these things?

@Mrs.babycat:  i agree… but i dont think this dress is offensive.. if it was an all white dress, then difinitely.. but just because you go to a wedding, doesnt mean you cant have a bit of white on.. idk maybe im just weird 🙂

I’d probably just wear another dress.  But honestly if someone wore that lovely dress to my wedding I wouldn’t think twice.  It’s beautiful.

I think that dress is fine to wear to a wedding. It definately isn’t white and is just a cute cocktail dress and unless the bride is wearing a more casual/non traditional dress I don’t think anyone will even notice.
