Had a Hard time finding a dress for my Junior Bridesmaid. She is pretty grown up for her age but still a “kid” you know? Stores don’t have much of a selection for Jr. Bridesmaid dresses so found this at David’s Bridal (looks MUCH better in person too). We put it on her and surprisingly fit really well! We wanted something with straps, liked the high color, and has the sash that ties in a bow in back. Will have to have it hemmed of coarse and can easily be taken in around the bust area to fit her, even though it fit pretty well.
What do you think? Too much or will it work? We got the dress in Silver.

Yea.. once as long as it isnt strapless or spagetti straps (hate those)..(oh and mermaids) i think it is fine for a 10 year old..

I think it’s great. I saw a junior bridesmaid with a dress similar to this one once. It works 🙂

My 9 year old gave it her approval and as a parent I think it is great!

Not something I personally would put on a 10 yr old. Instead of purchasing an adult dress, look for something that is more age appropriate, as well as already made to fit someone her size that does not require alot of alterations, as you mentioneed the above posted dress will need. http://mygirldress.com has a ton of cute colored dresses for kids her age/size.

I like it but after alteration pricing I would just find a cute silver dress at another store…

I personally would put a 10 yr old in that dress, as nice as it is i dont really think its age appropriate.

I think its fine but a little to pricey…I’m trying to keep my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses under that

@alicat2: If it fit her really well without looking too matronly or too adult then I say yes.
