I think it’s ok. It’s clearly not white. I wouldn’t bat an eye personally.

Whether it’s grey or blue is of no matter. It’s not white.

I likely wouldn’t bat an eye in a different fabric, but it is light colored and lace. I think it’s borderline enough that I wouldn’t wear it, just in case. Again the question arises: there is an entire rainbow of colors to choose from, so why choose a light neutral?

The dress is perfectly fine. So now people are supposed to avoid light neutral colors in certain fabrics? Good grief

YES. I undoubtedly think that a color that leaned more red/pink or even noticeably blue/green would be better. It is a beautiful dress, but so many brides go for champagne or other light neutrals that I just wouldn’t be comfortable choosing something so pale that didn’t have an actual color. Clearly, lots of other people disagree, so do what you will. I just wouldn’t risk it.

So I am one of those people who is against wearing any form of white, cream, off-white, etc to a wedding out of respect for the bride. I don’t care about the whole being mistaken for the bride crap, it’s just a respect thing for me, and I would absolutely wear that to a wedding. It looks grey to me, so it is totally fine. With that said, I prefer the purple-pink one, because I just think it is prettier. 🙂

I love that dress! I think it would be fine in either color, although the pink pops more. I’d wear either color to a wedding as a guest and I wouldn’t be offended in any way if someone wore either color to my wedding.

If you love the dress but are just surprised by the color being so pale you can always dye it.

Trying to avoid any light neutral colour is absurd.. this dress is grey/blue and completely fine for a wedding. I much prefer the colour to the purple one posted but either are appropriate. And I love the style of the dress! Where is it from?
