Now, I know you’re not ‘supposed’ to wear white or ivory to weddings. This dress I have (and LOVE) is a dark ivory background with a brown, grey and yellow floral print. Is it okay for wedding-wear? All previous weddings I have been to were family in New York and everyone was wearing black, lol, so I’m not sure where the ‘too much ivory’ threshhold is.
Here’s a pic (in real life, the background is a darker ivory):
Edit: I’m trying to shrink it, but it doesn’t stay small after I hit ‘edit post’! Sorry 🙁

Oh, that’s totally fine! It’s not remotely bridal.

Love it. I would definitely wear it.

It’s gorgeous– even if it were a lighter ivory it would still be ok.

Super cute and totally appropriate! Where is it from?

Totally cute and definitely ok. I think the no white “rule” is just so that you don’t look bridal and like you’re trying to steal the bride’s spotlight. This dress is not bridal at all so you’re golden!
