We are getting married at a state park in Washington. Its gorgeous: trees, water, with a reception in a log cabin type space. We are planning simple decorations as we want the emphasis to be on FINALLY having our friends and family all in one place, and really good food.
When looking at dresses before actually shopping, I always imagined myself in a flowy, almost grecian style dress. Throughout a marathon day of dress shopping none of the dresses felt right. And then I put on Autumn by Maggie Sottero. I finally felt like I was wearing the dress as opposed to the dress wearing me (if that makes sense).
My question is, is this dress too fancy? My Fiance, and his groomspeople will be wearing blue suits, and I would like the BM’s to wear knee length chiffon royal blue dresses, with yello flowers.
If it matters, I haven’t actually purchased the dress yet.

I think it’s lovely. Simple, elegant, classic. I think for an outdoor wedding it’s perfect and timeless. I would keep it understated if you really want it to keep it in line with your outdoor wedding. It’s such a gorgeous dress!

I think this dress is fabulous… In fact it’s inspiring some dress envy in me. If you wanted something similar but a little more Grecian in style, I think you should have a look for Abaco by Pronovias. I tried it on twice and it was definitely in the running for me… I has similar straps and neckline, lovely ruchng, and is made of chiffon so it flows. But honestly? Yours is gorgeous.
