My opinion is, it’s your big day, wear whatever you want!  I considered wearing a floor-length gown for my rehearsal.  My wedding is formal, however.  I ended up settling on a short Sue Wong.

The dress looks great on you! As the bride, I think you should look special during the rehersal. I say go for it! The etsy dress is pretty too, but I like the David’s Bridal one better.

I personally would not wear a white dress to the rehearsal dinner.

I like the DB dress. I think you should wear it. I wore a fitted white dress for my bridal shower, and although I received comments about how bridal it looked, I didn’t care, I loved it, and I looked great in it!

I was going to dress up even if all of my guests were wearing jeans and t shirts and we had it at my parent’s home. I say you are the bride and it is your rehearsal and you can wear what you want to.

I like it!  I’m doing a sort of formal dress for mine too.

I like it, and think it will be fine, I’m wearing a dress that is actually a bridesmaid dress.

I like the dress from DB.  It looks very nice on you. It does look bridal.  But a rehersal dinner is a wedding event.  And the event is in a formal setting, so the dress is approprate for the venue.  Just don’t wear a veil with it! 😉

If it were me considering that dress for my rehersal dinner, I’d make sure that the rest of my look was less bridal.  Perhaps colorful accessories?  And my hair in a significantly different style than I’d wear it when I walk down the aisle?  But part of that is because I’m an old fashioned bride who doesn’t want a first look before the ceremony; so I wouldn’t want to offer a peek at my style, even if it’s not THE dress.  (Maybe I’m crazy…)

I don’t think its too formal- not at all. But (and this is my opinion, not etiquette) I think wearing white for the rehearsal dinner is sort of blah. I think it makes the white dress on the wedding day less special. But I also LOVE color.

It does look great on you though!
